Hi, I'm Valerie Bertele. I recently founded an advisory firm focused on consulting governments and family offices on Innovation, Technology, and AI.

I am also an Investor and the Head of the San Francisco office at Yellow Rock Capital.

Before that, I worked at Google and Boston Scientific.

In my past life, I started PhD in oncology research in Australia and did Genetics research in Europe. I was awarded a government scholarship to study Chinese language and Culture in China. I built and sold my first company in China at the age of 23 after learning Chinese language in 4 months.

I originally hail from Belarus and now live in the great city of San Francisco, California.

My aspiration is to connect governments and family offices with tech leaders for better dialogue. I'm interested in a pretty eclectic mix of things, from Reproductive Biology in Space to dog judging and breeding to geopolitics, though I'm pretty focused on AI and investing these days.
